Spreading the Joy of Music in Local Schools since 1988

Music For Minors II (MFMII) is a nonprofit 501©(3)organization which provides music enrichment programs in pre-school through elementary schools in the East Bay area. In addition to classroom enrichment, MFMII provides performance opportunities for children on professional stages and family music events at local schools and community events.

About Us / Our History: Our mission is to nurture the love of music in children and develop musical literacy through instruction, participation and performances, enhancing academic education with musical arts. Click on this paragraph's heading for more information.

MFMII Board & Staff: MFMII's board consists of nine members who are supported by a part-time staff of five individuals. To learn more about them follow the link in this paragraph's heading.

Advisory Council: The MFMII Advisory Council is a 12-member group of distinguished community leaders who support the MFMII mission and organization by offering their expertise in areas of education, music, business, law, and accounting.

Educational Partners: MFMII also partners the Fremont Cultural Arts Council, and Music for Minors in San Carlos, as well as the MFMII Advisory Council members who represent three school districts, Arts Foundations, and the Alameda County Arts Commission.
